It is 6,859kms from Australia to Tokyo that’s 137,180 laps of the 50m pool or 28 days running on a treadmill. Phew…we are exhausted thinking about it – BUT as a team we are going to try to get to Tokyo!
It is 9,389kms from New Zealand to Tokyo that’s 187,780 laps of the 50m pool or 39 days running on a treadmill. Phew…we are exhausted about it – BUT as a team we are going to try to get to Tokyo!
We need YOU to join #teamsingletongymswim and record your KMs achieved in centre over the next 6 weeks! Whether you are swimming, running on a treadmill, pedalling on a bike or even find yourself on a rower – EVERY KM COUNTS!
How to join us:
1. Record your name on the tracking sheet at reception.
2. After each visit or session in centre, record your KMs next to your name on your way out.
3. Our team will do the rest! We will record your total count to keep track each week.
4. Look out for the Race to Tokyo board in centre with the leader board of the top 20 tracking members as well as how far we have travelled as a team!
